The Circle, a competition with a difference, encourages the most inventive bartenders from around the world to compete for a one-of-a-kind opportunity – a place to work side-by-side with Founder and Whiskymaker, John Glaser to create a Compass Box Limited Edition blend, which will be sold internationally.
Working alongside LDR London we produced a range of promotional collateral for the 3 day event. For example this included an engaging email invitation, a printed welcome pack and cocktail menus.
During the final the bartenders got creative behind the bar, building their own signature serves inspired by their home city and bespoke highball serves featuring their very own blend.




The Solution
We decided the circle would be the focus of the creative. Therefor we integrated this into the design in a variety of ways. Using an animated GIF in the html email invite to display the competition details as well as creating drinks coasters for the cocktail menus.

The Results
In conclusion over the three days of competition we saw the bartenders present their blend, with Rosey Mitchell receiving top-marks and the title of The Circle winner 2018.
